Community Guidelines
Effective October 4, 2026
WishSky works only if wishes are real and rankings are honest. These guidelines apply to everything you post: wishes, notes, reviews, answers, maker updates and game listings. They are part of our Terms of Service.
Welcome
- Wishes about genres, mechanics, settings, themes, moods and art styles
- Wishes for improvements or follow-ups to existing games ("like X, but co-op")
- Honest reviews of games you have actually played
- Constructive progress updates and replies from makers
Not allowed
- Piracy and cheating: requests for cracks, pirated copies, cheats, exploits or account trading
- Adult sexual content (not allowed for now), and any sexual content involving minors (never allowed, reported to authorities)
- Hate and harassment: attacks on people or groups, threats, bullying, doxxing
- Personal information: yours or anyone else's — emails, phone numbers, addresses, social handles
- Spam and ads: links, promotions, self-promotion outside the places made for it, repeated posts
- Illegal content or content that infringes someone's copyright or trademark
- Impersonation of people, studios or WishSky staff
Fair play
- One person, one account. No alternate accounts, bots or scripts.
- Do not buy, sell, trade or ask for backing, reviews or votes, and do not organise brigades.
- Makers must not review their own games or reward people for reviews.
- If you are connected to a game or studio you are talking about, say so.
We look for coordinated and automated activity. Suspicious backing may count for less or nothing, and may be removed from rankings.
Writing a good wish
Describe the game, not a person: what you do in it, what it feels like, and what makes it different. Keep it to one idea per wish. If a similar wish exists, back it instead — your support counts more together. We may merge near-identical wishes.
Reporting
Use the report button on any wish, review or game, or email support@wishsky.net. We aim to make a first decision on reports within 24 hours.
What happens when rules are broken
Depending on how serious it is: content is hidden or removed, backing is discounted, features are limited, or the account is suspended or banned. You can appeal within 7 days of a decision (14 days for a ban) by emailing support@wishsky.net; we aim to reply within 7 days.
