Developer Agreement
Effective October 4, 2026
his agreement applies when you create a maker profile on WishSky, in addition to our Terms of Service. "You" means you and the studio you act for.
1. Your maker profile
Keep your profile accurate. Your studio name is public: it appears on your claims, progress updates and games, and on the maker board where one is shown. The rest of your profile (team size, budget, risk appetite and so on) is used only to personalise your own dashboard and is never shown to others.
2. Data licence
WishSky gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the data you see in your dashboard, reports and exports for your own game development and marketing. You may not:
- redistribute, resell, publish or share raw data, exports or reports outside your team
- build derived datasets or databases from WishSky data, or use it to train machine-learning models
- try to identify any individual player, or combine WishSky data with other data to do so
- access the data by automated means other than features we provide
You may quote high-level findings in your own marketing (for example "a much-wished-for idea on WishSky") as long as they are accurate and not misleading.
3. Traceability
Exports and reports contain watermarks and tracing markers, and some records are unique to your account, so leaked data can be traced back to the account that exported it. If we find a leak, we may suspend access and take further action.
4. Contacting players
You may contact players only through WishSky's tools (launch notices, maker questions and playtest invitations), within their limits and the players' preferences described in the Early-Player List & Maker Questions Consent. Never ask players for personal information or to contact you outside WishSky.
5. Claims and progress
When you claim a wish, follow the claim rules shown in your dashboard and post honest progress updates. Claims without updates may be marked inactive or released so others can pick up the wish. Do not claim wishes you do not intend to work on.
6. Game listings
- List only games you have the right to publish, with accurate descriptions and working, genuine store links (we check them).
- Disclose if generative AI was used to make the game, where the listing form asks.
- No malware, deceptive links or content that breaks the Community Guidelines.
- A game marked as fulfilling a wish must actually deliver on it; players confirm whether it does.
7. Reviews
Do not review your own games, ask friends to, or offer anything in exchange for reviews. You may reply to reviews publicly and respectfully.
8. Paid plans, credits and sponsored slots
Paid plans follow section 9 of the Terms. Credits and sponsored placements follow the Sponsored Slot & Credit Rules.
9. Enforcement
If you break this agreement, we may remove content, release claims, revoke data access, cancel placements or suspend your maker profile or account, as described in the Terms. Sections 2 and 3 continue to apply to data you obtained before your access ended.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this agreement as described in section 18 of the Terms. Questions: support@wishsky.net.
