Player Content Licence

Effective October 4, 2026

This licence explains what happens to what you post on WishSky — wishes, notes, reviews, comments and answers to makers, including text you accepted from the Wish Coach. It is part of our Terms of Service.

What stays yours

You keep ownership of what you write. This licence does not transfer it to us.

What you allow us and makers to do

When you post, you give WishSky and makers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual and sublicensable licence to display, reproduce, translate, adapt, combine, analyse and publish your content as part of the Service and its reports, and to build and market games inspired by it.

"Sublicensable" means we can pass this permission on to makers and to providers who help us run the Service. We need it to be perpetual because wishes are combined into rankings and reports, and games may be built from them long after you post.

Ideas are free

Ideas on their own are generally not protected; only their particular expression is. A wish coming true does not give the person who wished it any rights in the resulting game, and no one is owed payment because an idea was used. Many people often wish for similar things, so a game resembling your wish does not mean it was copied from you.

Your promises

You confirm that you have the right to post your content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or include anyone's personal information.

Removing content

You can withdraw your backing or delete your account at any time. Your text is then removed from public view, and anonymised totals stay in aggregate statistics. Reports, exports and games already made from earlier data are not recalled.
